Just curious..
How did ye get into playin whatever ya play in the first place?
I owe my drumming to the drummer from Mute, Cillian McConville.. I'm good friends with him and his brother Ruairi and I went up to his house one day about two years ago and just started playin this shitty old drumkit that he had at the time.. Then I went home and begged me parents to let me get one. Took me like 7 months to scrape together €500 to finally get myself a kit of my own. Best fuckin day ever the day I got those drums.
How'd ye get into it?

I always wanted to play guitar in the back of my mind but when i started listenin to megadeth and really gettin into them i just said 'right fuck that. i'm gettin me a guitar''. so i got a job and bought me a warlock (westfield) and started playin me some megadeth.

jesus. I think when we did that guitarded thing just over two years ago,I decided I wanted a guitar.
But then I heard for whom the bell tolls,and decided to learn that bass part on my brothers old bass. And since then,I've been at it every day.

i liked as barry referred to all de mainstream bands
but i wanted to get drums outa my confirmation money but i had no room in my house in kildare for dem so i settled for a guitar
it was more slipknot and kurt cobain dat got me playing guitar
and plus it was also something good 2 be able to do and go on and play n a band

Nirvana were the reason i started playing guitar. although if my ma didnt own a guitar it might have been different |
